Be a FAN of the library as parents and children participate together in a variety of activities including art projects, dance parties, games, special guests, and MORE! Each Family Activity Night lasts approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on the activity. All Family Activity Nights are inclusive and welcoming! Family Activity Night is geared toward children aged 2-10. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Family Activity Night - The Sky's the Limit: Peeps Tower Challenge
Using your best engineering skills and a limited budget of MPL bucks, purchase supplies to construct a sky-high structure to support a Peeps bird nest. The tallest freestanding tower will win a “tweet” prize!

Family Activity Night - Spring into Wellness Family Yoga
Join local Children’s Yoga Instructor Lauren Philippsen for a spring-themed Family Yoga practice, where kids and adults alike can stretch, play, and grow stronger together.
Join local beekeeper Steve Massey of 100 Acre Hunny as he shares the sweet details about honeybees. He will provide insights into the different types of bees, the workings of a hive, and the process of honey production.
