NASCAR Day Giveathon to Benefit Friends of Manitowoc Public Library

In honor of NASCAR's 75th Anniversary, the NASCAR Day Giveathon is a joint effort between NASCAR, the NASCAR Foundation, and Speedway Children’s Charities to provide much needed funds to the non-profit organizations throughout the United States. This nationwide community day of online giving—from 5PM on Tuesday, May 16, through 7PM on Friday, May 19—will be a 75-hour period that provides an easy and fun way for the racing community—and everyone so inclined to give, for that matter—to support local nonprofits. Seehafer Broadcasting Corporation graciously extended an invitation to MPL and the Friends of MPL to be a part of this virtual event, and all funds raised will be used by the Friends to assist in their efforts to support children’s programming during the Summer Reading Program.
