Event Details

Winter may seem like a quiet time, but it’s actually filled with enough bizarre tales and stories of superstitions to cause an unsettling school snow day—winter spirits, Krampus (the anti-Santa Claus), stories of little people, the Twelve Days of Christmas, werewolves, witches, people being buried alive, and numerous other Holiday traditions for the darkest days of the year! Not precisely the “Silent Night” you were expecting, is it?!

Join Chad Lewis—researcher, author and lecturer on topics of the strange and unusual—for this special holidays-themed event in Manitowoc Public Library’s Balkansky Community Room at 6 PM on Thursday, December 8. It’s a presentation that definitely has the potential to turn your “Ho-Ho-Ho!” into a “Ho-Ho-UH-OH!”
