Let’s be honest—you can’t spell “bee” without spelling! As such, after a pandemic-induced absence, the “T-I-M-E” to partake in a bit of friendly “C-O-M-P-E-T-I-T-I-O-N” while indulging in a couple of quality micro-brewed beers (should you so choose to) is upon us once more: “Brew ‘N Bee III: Spell Harder!” Because there’s no way to emerge victorious if you don’t “Spell Harder!” Manitowoc Public Library and PetSkull Brewing will present this orthographic scrum in PetSkull’s outdoor Beer Garden on Wednesday, July 19, at 6 PM.
As before, this will be a Single Elimination event, so if you spell a word wrong, you’re out! However, “Cheats” will again be available for purchase beforehand to help keep you in the competition. A $20 participation fee will be associated with the Brew ‘N Bee and registration is required. Here’s what you get for that fee: two pints of amazing PetSkull Beer (or soda/water if you prefer, though we recommend sticking with Brewmaster Ryan Budzban’s spectacular quaffs), a Certificate of Participation suitable either for framing or using as an oversized coaster for your Brews the evening of the Bee, and a chance to score a fabulous prize should you be one of the Top 3 finishers. And a shot at glory! Don’t ever forget glory! Space is Limited! Full rules for “Spell Harder” will be contained within your registration packet.
